Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (CLNC®) are nurses who have
completed an intense training course and passed the certification
exam. Using their nursing background, CLNCs® work with attorneys,
healthcare organizations, government, and private companies to review
medical-related cases for legal liability purposes.

- Medical record interpretation
- Personal injury and medical malpractice case review
- Product liabilty medical record assessment
- Disability evaluation and determination review
- Complex litigation case organization and management
- Provide initial case screenings for merit
- Assist with depositions and trials
- Educate attorneys regarding medical facts and issues relevant to the case
- Prepare chronologies of medical events
- Review and analyze expert witness, or locate and retain expert witness
- Identify injuries and damages
- Attend independent medical exams, if needed
- Identify non-compliant conduct
- Identify critical omissions in delivery of care
